As veterinarians are on-call for emergencies overnight and on weekends/holidays, it is important to call ahead (53) to speak with a clinician before coming into the Large Animal Clinic. Large animal emergency services are available 24/7 for horses and livestock. Please call 53 before bringing your pet into the clinic so we may best help you assess your emergency. In order to provide the highest quality of emergency care and minimize wait times during the current overwhelming demand, the Emergency Room may have to temporarily close or limit admissions to new cases on occasion. Small animal emergency service are available 24/7 for cats and dogs. For emergencies, call 53 (small animals and exotics) or 53 (large animals).
